A friend died yesterday.

He was “Anomalous Fan” on this blog, and appropriately I will leave him anonymous, and anomalous, as only he could be. We went to school together at the North Carolina School of the Arts.

He had a great sense of humor, and whether he was running, recommending good music or fostering a messy puppy, he faced life’s ups and downs with calm dry wit.

He is missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Heaven must be a little bit funnier today.
