The other day I finally started using iGoogle. It is fun. It puts all my crappe in one place and reminds me how much I’ve let Google take over my brain.

Replacing my daily planner, snail mail, newspaper, maps, and local television

Clearly this is useful. But observe that it is also adorable:

I picked the “JR” theme, which gives me a cityscape with a friendly monster who works out and does other things every couple of hours. How entertaining is this? Answer: quite.

Let it be said when technology takes over that it succeeded by being really, really enjoyable.
