I still need to write the grand tale of my exodus from NC and my arrival in CA, but I have had very important things to do today. Very, very important things. Like read “Fray” and watch The Venture Bros. Nothing like a tasty vacay on a good friend’s couch.
I must confess a stop in Albuquerque pulled out my moony stitches a bit. Some things are gone and won’t come back. That’s life. But the good news is that more good stuff is coming. It always is. Here’s a little Robert Frost up in this piece:
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Bring on the gold.
